About

The Computational Imaging and Graphics team is a research group led by Dr Li Bai in the School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham. Carrying out research into both theoretical and applied imaging techniques, the primary goal of the group is solving problems provided by real-world scenarios.

A focus on mathematically and statistically grounded techniques is present in a great deal of work. Research is done in collaboration with a wide variety of other scientific groups, including medical, physical and psychology departments within the university. Externally, work has been done for and in conjunction with organisations including the British Geological Survey and Ordnance Survey, as well as visualisation industrial companies.
