Prepare a short report in your own words, in the form of a Word 2003 Document, on the topic you have been allocated [this is not finished - times, locations and allocated topics not yet available. Also if your name appears (rather than login) it means I don't have your login - please email me with it]. This should be about 2000 words long. Make links from the document to your references. I will copy your report (and ppt presentation - see below) and make it accessible from the presentation list page. Marks: 20% Deadline: 27th November, 2009.
Submission: Via the electronic submission system and paper handin to the School Office. The file should be called QAT09Report-<UID>.doc
2.
Prepare and give a short presentation on your topic at the time allocated in the list. The talk should be ten minutes with two minutes for questions. The source for the PowerPoint (or other system) presentation should also be made available. Marks: 10% Deadline: see schedule. The presentations should start exactly on-time.
Submission: Present the work at your allocated time. The ppt document should be submitted via the electronic submission system (full ppt) and paper handin (handouts - six up) to the School Office. The file should be called QAT09Presentations-<UID>.doc within one day of the presentation.
3.
Write a brief review assessing the quality of the two reports from section 1 that you have been allocated (links to these will be placed on the web. The allocation is to the other two people in your presentation slot. Marks: 10% Deadline: 9th December, 2009.
Submission: Via the electronic submission system and paper handin to the School Office. The file should be called QAT09Reviews-<UID>.doc Please keep the reviews to between about 15 and 25 lines each.
