A Student's Impression of Me
I am an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science here at Nottingham University and teach on a part-time basis. I am now a practitioner of Computer Science and work elsewhere when I am not teaching. I will be easiest to find on a Monday in the School, although I am around on a Friday as well for part of the day. If you email me I will respond within 36 hours.
My expertise is in systems architecture, image processing, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and financial modelling. I now work at the leading edge of these fields generating real industrial applications and I believe this informs and enriches my teaching.
