Scientific Background
The aim of this meeting is to bring together users of the high performance computing facility from across campus in an informal atmosphere in order to exchange ideas, techniques and experiences.
The meeting will involve ~50 participants, chiefly postgraduate students and researchers at the University. This year it will be held in the Exchange Building LT2. The format will primarily be 30 minute talks with a small number of 1 hour talks by external speakers.
We aim to feature talks with tutorial value, and plan to hold hands-on sessions with University of Nottingham HPC and GPGPU facilities for new users.
There will also be talks led by the University of Nottingham HPC services team to discuss recent developments and to engage with the user base focusing on issues such a future procurement and usability.
