Aims

Chaturangan's aims are as follows.

bullet Create innovative opportunities.
bullet Enhance the quality of South Asian dance on a local, regional, national and international level.
bullet Raise the profile of South Asian dance on a local, regional, national and international level.

Objectives

Chaturangan will achieve its aims by implementing the following objectives.

bullet Working in partnership with venues and other like-minded organisations in order to encourage the growth of audience for South Asian dance.
bullet Collaborating with voluntary and statutory sector organisations to develop employment opportunities for South Asian dance artists.
bullet Identifying specially tailored training for individuals to enable their development of their artform.
bullet Organising professional skills development (writing for dance, lighting for dance, accounting, marketing, PR).
bullet Creating quality publicity materials and distribution channels, website, and quality documentation.
bullet Developing a relationship with the media and other agencies through advocacy and networking.
