Research interests include
- Automatic assessment of student work using the Ceilidh system.
- Software tools: expert systems for C standards; static and dynamic program analysis.
- Natural language semantics for single sentences. We use an on-line copy of Roget's Thesaurus as the basis of our work. Some of the Roget commands are being made available over the WWW.
- Formal Specification using Z, and tools to assist users develop specifications.
- Novel user window/mouse interfaces.
- Music storage
and analysis; topics related to the design of languages and systems
for description of music and music scores (ANSI X3V1.8M), music storage,
analysis and printing using computers.
