Natalio Krasnogor's WebPage

I am an Associate Professor and Reader in Interdisciplinary Computer Science in the School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham. I carry out my research within the Automated Scheduling, Optimisation and Planning Research Group (ASAP).

My research activities lie at the interface of Computer Science and the Natural Sciences, e.g. Biology, Physics, Chemistry.

In particular, I focus on developing innovative and competitive search methodologies and intelligent decision support systems with an emphasis on transdisciplinary optimisation, modelling of complex systems and very-large datasets processing.

I have applied my expertise to Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Synthetic Biology, Nanoscience and Chemistry.
