My research interests span the areas of social media, eLearning, mobile computing and mixed reality. I currently have the following PhD students:
Balsam is currently looking at the use of mobile devices in supporting peer-to-peer learning in key stage 3 children.
Reem is investigating the effectiveness of collaborative games for learning in key stage 2 children.
Zenah is researching into the use of persuasive technologies for social responsibility.
Sara is focussing how social visualisation might be used to support community building in social networks.
Wesam is researching into location-based services for learning.
