Introduction

This page contains links to previous examinations for the artificial intelligence courses that are related to this course.

I have included G5BAIM (Artificial Intelligence Methods) as well as G5AIAI (Introduction to Artificial Intelligence). This is because before G5AIAI was introduced G5BAIM was essentially the same as G5AIAI.

The files below contain the questions as well as the answers. However, please note, that these are not model answers. I have to provide the questions and answers to the internal and external examiners. The answers I provide show the internal and external examiners the type of things I am looking for and also serve to convince them that the question can be answered in the time allowed.
Therefore, do not treat them as model answers, but you should find the answers useful to check your own calculations and also to check that you are providing the type of answer that I am looking for.

The files are supplied as Word files as these as that is they supplied to the external examiners. It would be a fairly major job to convert them to HTML, something I cannot do at the present time.

Of course, you can also get copies of old exams papers from the library and also get some of them from the university exam web site.

Old Papers with Suggested (not Model) Answers

G5AIAI

G5BAIM

This course ran for four years before G5AIAI started and effectively was G5AIAI. Therefore, many of the exam questions from G5BAIM can be used for revision purposes.
