The IDLE project stems from a collaboration between Liz Evans at the Department of Culture, Film and Media and Holger Schnädelbach and Hyosun Kwon at the Mixed Reality Lab, Computer Science (both at the University of Nottingham).

We are investigating engagement with storytelling experiences via the use of custom-made story-telling boxes as gifts to storytellers and the resulting stories as gifts to the public. This is framed in its own story world, a world where a solar flare has knocked out the digital archives of humanity in 2020.
