Abstract:
This is an attempt to analyse, design, implement and evaluate an effective 
and efficient IT solution for Ayumi Apparels Pvt. Ltd, which is a garment 
factory in Sri Lanka. The IT solution proposed will be a Business to 
Employee Portal. This system should assist Ayumi Apparels Pvt. Ltd in 
providing its employees with a greater level of satisfaction by enabling 
them to carry out certain tasks with ease and should assist the company 
in managing its employees in an effective and efficient manner. After 
visiting many garment factories in Sri Lanka its clear that none of these 
factories have a business to employee portal and therefore if Ayumi 
Apparels implements such a system it could help them to achieve a 
significant advantage over its competitors. The report will start with 
an overview of the organisation and its structure. Then it will look at 
the current operations that are carried out followed by the difficulties 
faced when using the current system. It will then look at the proposed 
system and its benefits. Certain steps are followed before the final 
solution is reached. These steps include analysis, design, implementation 
and testing.
