Project Title: Automatic Generation of Touristic Routes

Abstract:
Planning a trip to Cyprus can be a very frustrating experience; 
having in mind that you will spend a specific amount of days 
into a specific region, and you want to satisfy all your needs 
and the ones that are travelling with you makes it even harder 
to plan a proper journey. The only sources available, from 
outside Cyprus, are the Internet, articles in magazines, 
guidebooks available in bookstores etc. but none of them is 
up-to-date or provide details as to how you will get there 
from one place to another and it is impossible to design the 
most suitable trip plan for you. In this project, we develop 
a Web application for creating tourist trips based on their 
profile and preferences. The system allows users to view 
numerous points of interest (services, venues, attractions, 
events, etc.), register into the website and based on their 
own preferences have a trip created for them.
