Project Title: Management Information System for Beauty Sessions

Abstract: 
Nowadays, informations integration stands for a crucial part in business battles, 
especially in high tech world. To best collect, analyze and output information, 
computer-based systems appear as an innovation approach to be undertaken, among 
which, some can automatically offer advices for end users such as tour destination 
advisors, household appliance disgnostic systems and restaurant recommenders. These 
systems receive information that ends users input, and output approapriate suggestions 
on rules and knowledge base.
Likewise, the main issue of this project is to develop a Management Information System 
for online customers in Vivian's Beauty Salon and to automatically advise about beauty 
sessions  following customer demands. The system will implement an interface to connect 
users and the knowledge base, in this case, a website. To expand, customers can enter 
information and details like skin type, skin tone, skin problems, interests and special 
needs without registration. Afterwards, the system is implemented to design proper beauty 
sessions for customers. The output will show several suggestions of sessions that customers 
might consider and list related details. Customers can also book for beauty sessions of 
their own choices. Thus this system combines a traditional website like Argos, with 
automatic advice system to help customers make decisions. The dissertation will examine 
the literature of such kinds of systems and algorithm that handle this sort of problems. 
A set of real data will be collected to test whether the system works or not.
