Bio

Robert Oates received his Masters degree in Applied Computer Science and Cybernetics from the Cybernetics Department of the University of Reading

 

After graduating he worked for Siemens  Automation and Drives as part of the standard drives software team, developing PC interface tools and maintaining control software for low-voltage converters. 

 

He completed his PhD in Artificial Immune Systems and Robotics at the University of Nottingham.
