****************************************************************************** Call For Abstracts Special Session on Computational Intelligence Methods in Finance and Management at 6th International Conference on Computational Management Science May 1-3 2009 Geneva ****************************************************************************** This special session on Computational Intelligence Methods in Finance and Management aims to bring together researchers on theoretical and empirical studies in computational problems in financial and management. Recent research in this new emerging inter-disciplinary area has attracted a lot of research attention on solving a broad range of problems with diversified constraints, complexity and uncertainty. The emphasis will be on recent progress and challenges in computational issues as well as on algorithmic methodologies applied to financial and management problems. Topics of interest include, but not limited to: * Constrained and unconstrained optimisation algorithms * Combinatorial optimisation * Neural networks * Evolutionary algorithms * Computational Methods applied on - portfolio management and optimization - risk management - financial forecasting and analysis - financial data mining - artificial stock markets - derivative pricing - management science Important Dates: Submission of one page abstract: 16th March 2009 Notification of acceptance: 20th March 2009 Conference: 1st-3rd May 2009 Papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the journal of Computational Management Science (subject to standard review procedure). Submissions should be sent by email to the Special Session Organizers (best to copy to both organizers). Please include the text "CMS2009 Submission by " in the Subject line.
